Rest and Meal Periods
If you are a full-time hourly production employee, you will have 2 rest periods. One in the morning for 15 minutes and one in the afternoon for 10 minutes in length each workday. For other departments, consult your supervisor to determine break rules. When possible, rest periods will be scheduled in the middle of work periods. Because rest time is counted and paid as time you worked, you must not be absent from your workstation longer than the rest period allows.
All full-time hourly employees, regardless of department in which you work, will have one meal period of 30 minutes in length each workday. Your supervisor will schedule your meal period to accommodate operating requirements. During meal periods, you are not subject to any work responsibilities or restrictions. You will not be paid for meal period time.
